MOVE Classes

Johna Johnson, a certified yoga and qigong instructor, is offering free MOVE classes at The Robert & Lee DuVall Center from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. every Wednesday morning. MOVE brings together slow but powerful yoga and qigong poses to improve overall health and wellbeing. No prior experience required. Classes are followed by a light breakfast. Just in time for the holidays, join Robin Carter for a gift bag making class on December 6 from noon to 3:00 p.m. at The Robert & Lee DuVall Center. We’ll provide everything you need to get started, including an artistically designed kit, step-by-step instructions, precut pieces, a stamp set and ink spot. Lunch served at noon.

Cost is $5. In-person or online pre-registration is required. Limited spots available.

PRESTONWOOD CHURCH: THE GIFT OF CHRISTMAS SHOW WITH BUFFET

When: Wednesday, December 7, 6:00 p.m.

The Gift of Christmas is a Prestonwood tradition and has become one of the highlights of the Christmas season, with thousands of guests attending every year. This visually stunning multimedia event is complete with special effects, a nearly 1,000-member cast and choir, live orchestra, flying angels and much more!

The Gift of Lights is back at Texas Motor Speedway! This 2-mile-long LED light show is a giant, glittering, dancing show of lights that line the road as you drive through the iconic raceway.

Celebrate the holiday season with a familyfriendly concert featuring the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Enjoy holiday favorites including music from The Nutcracker, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, Sleigh Ride, and more.
