Still unchanged vacancy The overall vacancy in the first quarter of the year is 7.6 percent. This means that the overall vacancy in unchanged in January 2021 compared to last quarter. Just like the overall vacancy, both residential and office vacancy are unchanged compared to October 2020, and they are thus still at 5.1 and 9.5 percent respectively. The retail vacancy sees a small increase of 0.1 percentage points while industrial vacancy decreases with 0.2 percentage points, which adds up to a retail vacancy of 7.9 percent and an industrial vacancy of 9.5 percent. Compared to January 2020, the overall vacancy has increased with 0.3 percentage points where the retail and industrial vacancy have increased with 0.9 and 1.2 percentage points respectively. The office vacancy increases with 0.2 percentage points, while residential is also unchanged for the year.
