Site’s location The site for the future National Art Museum of Andorra is on the area bordered by Carrer de Sant Salvador, Carrer de la Borda, and Carrer de Bra. Riberaygua.

Design’s goals Creating a design concept for the new National Art Museum of Andorra on the designated site in Andorra La Vella. The design idea should have an positive impact on the city’s economy, tourism,...

Concept and idea In this project, the design team’s goal is creating a new experience for visitors and a landmark project in the area. The project consists of 3 main blocks located on a hilly terrain surface to create an interesting gathering place for visitors and local residents, interspersed with green trees. The underground exhibition spaces are linked together by ramps.

The project’s aiming Textile and garment factory is a combined production model of several large enterprises in the garment market, including 2 main production functions: Textile (fabric) and Garment. This project aims to help students become familiar with the genre of large-scale industrial architecture, apply learned design principles to the design of industrial clusters, production complexes…

Textile and garment factories belong to the light industry, are easily flammable,explosive. This kind of factory has an average level of pollution and require environmental treatment by appropriate equipment. This project is located in a light industrial park (Cu Chi, Ho Chi Minh City), adjacent to a residential area.

Section A

The exporting/importing area requires an suitable area for truck’s parkings. This area is needed to be located reasonably in order to reduce the traffic jam in the city.

Textile area is a place which gathers a large amount of workers. This area is divided into many sections for functions; like hand-crafting areas, storages,...

Green areas are located between every factory’s ateliers. These spaces help reducing the exhaust gas and refreshing the working environment.

Canteen is located near the gardens, in order to create an fresh environment for workers when they have lunch at canteen.

Space program requirements With a focus on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015 and the commitments of Vietnam at the COP26 conference, in line with the trend of sustainable design, the competition requests participants to design a consultation and capacity development support center in any locality within the territory of Vietnam where they believe the establishment of such a center would bring multiple benefits

Lobby - office This block provides a modern and fresh working - environment for the staffs and the teachers who works here.

In the first floor, there is a lobby which has the reception and some sofas for the visitors.

Culinary training This area is providing basic knowledge for students who want to work in culinary industry. There are spaces and rooms that have full amenties (kitchens, sinks, fridges,...) for students to develop their skills.

Canteen - library This area is located in the center of the project and near the school’s yard, in order to create a close-tonature space for the users. There is also a first-aid room, in case of emergency.

First-aid skill training This area provides student knowledge and technique to deal with emergency (first-aid, venomous animal bitten, self - protection,...). This block is located near to the canteen-library area in order to transmit learning-equipment easily.

Financial management training In this area, students learn how to manage their finacial situation reasonably which can help them stablizing their life and preventing them from losing their income.

Social communicating skill training In this area, students are taught to improve their social communication skill. They ‘ll learn to behave suitably in different working environment.

Office - working skill training In this area, students learn to improve office skills such as team-work, presentation skill, timemanagement,...
