NW London FC was formed in 2015, initially competing as a Sunday team in the Central London League. Founded by close friends Wasim Khan and Samir Naji, the club took its name from the North West area of London, where both founders were born and raised
Immediate success marked the club’s early years, with Khan and Naji managing the team while still actively playing Their achievements included winning the Sunday League title and securing victory in a prestigious one-day tournament held at Emirates Stadium.
In the 2017/18 season, NW London FC took a significant step by entering the English football pyramid at Step 8 (Middlesex Division 1 – Central & East). A promising first season included reaching the Semi-Finals of the League Cup However, recognizing the need for a more sustainable approach, Khan transitioned to a full-time managerial role, while Naji became the club’s chairman
The restructure proved effective in the 2018/19 season, leading the club to finish 3rd and earn promotion to the Middlesex Premier Division The club narrowly missed out on the league title by just five points, impressively scoring 74 goals to become the league’s highest scorers, highlighted by a remarkable 18-0 victory on opening day.
The 2019/20 season showed further promise at Step 7, with the club positioned well in the league and reaching the Semi-Finals of the London Senior Trophy. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the season was prematurely cancelled, as was the following 2020/21 season
NW London FC made history in the 2021/22 season by achieving an extraordinary treble, winning the Anagram Cup, the Middlesex Intermediate Cup, and securing the Middlesex Premier Division title at Step 7.
In 2022/23, the club advanced to Step 6 for the first time Despite early struggles, a strong midseason performance ensured survival, ultimately finishing in 17th place.
The 2023/24 season marked NW London's second year at Step 6, including their first-ever victory in the FA Vase, reaching the 2nd qualifying round The club finished the season in 17th place
In the 2024/25 season, NW London moved to its new home at Coles Park, continuing to compete at Step 6 and finishing 16th in the league, further consolidating their position for future growth

Afternoon All,
It’s great to be back at New Lodge for our last home game for a little while.
I was really pleased with Wednesday’s result. The boys showed signs of how ruthless we can be going forward, creating chances throughout and showing real quality in the final third. A strong team performance, backed up by hard work and discipline, ensured we fully deserved the three points and gave us great momentum heading into today’s game.
Today we welcome NW London, who will no doubt provide a tough test. They’re well organised and carry real threat going forward, so we’ll need to be sharp and at our best from the first whistle. I’ve got full confidence in the quality we have throughout the squad to secure another positive result.
Thank you once again for your continued support it means a lot to everyone involved. Let’s get behind the lads and make this place loud as we push for another important win.
Up The Tons ⚪
