The drama takes us to the life of several young men and women, who are struggling to fit in a society where no one wants them, even their parents reject them. I design a set, where all these young people have their own rooms.

The rooms only have one wall, that looks like a thumbstone.

Each and every room have their specific chalk drawing on them. We decided to create this childish image in a way where we can somehow look into their heads or see the image their parents wants to show.

the whole play started with a very bizzare scene of a funeral in the hall of the theatre where all the actors were crying and grieving. We even had two coffins with the two departed friends of theirs.

Together with the director we changed the concept of the play. It is happening in a television studio, where there are cameras & camera men.

The whole theatre play is combined with a cinematic experience, where on a huge canvas we can see live close-ups of the happenings.

Everything is black and white, the costumes (Doró Sikó), the live video and the set as well. The main element of the set is a huge rhombus shaped table, that they can use for every scene.

A Roman Tragedy director:

The 19th-century farce of the Schöntan brothers simultaneously flashes the satire of petty-bourgeois attitudes and theater.

I designed an East-German inspired room interior with bright yellow colour, that perfectly matched with the colourful costumes. (Aletta Lokodi).

The stage was designed to have multiple “tricky” solutions. (doors in walls, room in the sofa and cabinet, even the huge pink horse)

9
The play simultaneously reflects on today's social reality and their own theatrical environment.
10

In our chaos, you can see three women driven to the brink of a nervous breakdown by social pressure and constant drive. However, the realization is liberating: when we can’t go down anymore. then we can only go up!

I designed a for the eye. the “dark humour”

Simple structure

set which colours are simply enjoyable

These vibrant colours compensate perfectly humour” of the play. structure for very complicated happenings.

A Bright Star at Stake

director: Attila Létmányi

I designed the costumes age-less, functional and representing the power the characters were suited with.

The focus and scope of the presentation that the director envisioned is the destruction of ideologies, the separation of man from his natural state, his desire to return, and the question of self-identity.

13

In the 21st century, we live in an age of rebellion. This time, the rebellion does not primarily take place on a physical level, but morally, in the arena of values.

14

Mask making

This play is about the crisis of climate change, the fear of it & its damages around the world.

I did a lot of research how does a real polar bear looks like.

I used a sponge-base technique with fake fur on it .

It was a fun process and I enjoyed it.

15

It was a full head cover. I used some upcycled pieces of leather for the nose and mouth

16

Hungarian Heroes

director: Seres Tamás

This play was designed to be an escape-room & theatre confusion.

Some students go with their teacher to an escape-room, where they got into famous Hungarian heroes’ bodies.

17

I designed a set which opens like a book, by it we travel to different eras, these heroes lived in. We organized each “page” to represent the typical characteristics of those times.

18

The day of Víd

The play happens during the Yugoslavian War, that took place 30 year ago. In this play we can see 5 different stories of the people’s lives. There are more sad than happy moments. We can see betrayal, unexpected news and a lot of social criticism.

19

The center piece of this set is a huge bombed wall, that has a big hole on it. This hole represents the cross between life and death, which was the main topic during any war..

FRIDA, the muse of life director/coreographer: Éva

Duda

In this dance theatre performance we created together with the amazing Éva Duda Dance Company segments of Frida Kahlo’s life

The Jungle Book

director: Gábor Kolozsi-Borsos

This project was really special to me. We worked together with a group of high-shoolers. I had to design a set, which is not only aestethic, but functional as well. It not only had to carry 50 students, but a whole musical band.

23

The design was really simple. Together with the costume designer (Doró Sikó) wanted to create a very modern and beautiful fusion of the costumes and set.

Traveling theatre of Sopalovic

director:Margaréta Táborosi , <

The story of the play is simple, a moving theatre goes into a small town in Serbia during the war times.

The people of the town reject the theatre and doesn’t understand how in such awful times people could do something like theatre.

Filip, one actor of the company is trapped in his own mind, he imagines life as a big theatre play. In my set I tried to somehow show his mind, he can’t decide what is reality and what is illusion.

At some point the whole set is deconstructed, we can see Filip’s mind cracking into pieces, which leads to his unfortunate death.

25

We can see a narrowing box, that decreases in depth as well. How Filip’s mind is also decreasing in its capacity. This blue box has three parts, it opens up at certain points and allows the actors to widen their space, but the narrowing in contrary warns us, that something uncertain will happen.

We created the huge poppies as a symbol of the theatre, it spreads like it, by word of mouth.
