The aim was to create multiple set designs for opel new car launching more mokka. Under supervision of art director (Noor Satea) the designs of two sets was concluded. First set was a concept of having two rooms mirrored upside down. Second set was a continuos stair illusion.

The German university in cairo is located at Al tagamoa, Gamal Abdel Nasser, New Cairo 3, Cairo Governorate, Cairo, Egypt. A 5 year program of Mainly Architecture and Urban design studies are taken in 4 years to gain bachelor degree and 1 year for pre-masters.

VIRTUAL MUSEUM IN CAIRO BRANDING CAIRO _ THE LAND OF CULTURE AND FUTURE.

The aim is to establish a new identity in cairo with the concept of merging the rich heritage fabric of the city with futuristic terminologies in order to create unique architectural experiences that can adapt and be developed in the upcoming future.

PRE-DESIGN AND SKETCHES CAIRO VISION MAP - MONORAIL STRATEGY

Supporting the concept of intergrating the culture with the future, cairo was seen in multiple developed phases that can be identified as Old, Modern and Future Cairo. Along the horizental connection between these different phases using the monorail, a potential to further support this city core was concluded by placing different architecture catalysts on the vacant lands alongside it holding the theme of virtual art cities.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN - THREE THREE’S CONCEPT

The design concept is revolved around the idea of taking cultural assets and generating developed forms and ideas inspired from them. The intiative design asset inspired from was the Islamic geometric patterns then the dome shape then the district of khan el khalil and its unique architecture and urban values. These assets were mutated and developed in unconventional ways to create a further unique experiences suiting the goal of the project.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN - STAR CONCEPT

After drawing and studying the 8 edges star, a final sketch was concluded to be the starting guide lines for the masterplanning of the museum.

This kind of approach is appearable in the end result of the project.

LANDSCAPE AND UPPER PLAZA DESIGN

Derivative from the star concept the upperground of the building was divided to multiple different elements in a circular defination. The upperground of the building is formed of the entrance, the plaza, the surrounding soar, the 7 culture Exhibitions and the main middle piece the perforated dome.

UNDERGROUND CITY EXHIBITION

As the tilting of the dome opened the underground circulation, the development of a virtual future city inspired from the culture heritage district khan el khalil was initiated. The design took place in the form of different units organized and designed in a way that presents the past in a new futuristic way.

UPPERGROUND RENDERS MASTER PLAN

The design of the landscape and hardscape around the project outlines were formed in an organic flowing circulation guiding the pedestrain across the site and to the museum entrance.

HUMAN PRESPECTIVE RENDERS

First render showing the prominence of the dome from outside of the soar. Second render is showing the experience created under the soar design circulation around the dome.

2D DRAWINGS AND UNDERGROUND RENDERS PLAN AND SECTION

The zones inside the museum are divided into multiple spaces surrounding the main exhibitionary space of the metaverse city. The main idea of the underground is to create a new unique experience in cairo that explore the future in past manners.

CAIRO’S FUTURE HOLOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION HALL

This is the hall under the perforated dome designed to hold a holographic visuals that shows the latest developments and projects of the city.

The circular design of the hall is held by steel V-columns. The bridge on the right handside is for horizental private circulation to the digital labs and a vertical connection for the vistors where it connect the upper plaza to the roof of it then to the main hall by a spiral stair shown in the last render.

KHAN EL KHALIL FUTURE METAVERSE CITY

Meeting between the physical and virtual realitys inside the museum exhibition city space by using hologram technology to bring the virtual world into the physical reality. The design of this space varys between the design of the units inspired from the simple design of khan el khalil buildings, while the ground level is filled with holographic shops experience representing an open exhibition and the design of the roof and lights using the islamic geometric patterns.

CIRCULATION BRIDGE

The grey vertical element is the elevator while the horizental one is the bridge that connects vertically too by a staircase landing on the top of it from the upperground reception area then to the spiral staircase connecting the top of the bridge to the main hall.

DIGITAL MEDIA ART CENTER IN FUSTAT, CAIRO NILE PROJECT _ Revitalizing the Nile River Experience.

PRE-DESIGN AND SKETCHES RIVER WALK MASTER PLAN - VISIONARY SKETCHES

The plan was to design an experience alongside the two shores of the nile to connect them together and create a unique experience . Then a Mid-rise building was placed on an empty land to further extend the connection from the nile to the otherside of the road. The building is designed to illuminate the nile front with art shows exhibited on its elevation.

11th FLOOR PLAN Exhibition space with circular double height hall

7th FLOOR PLAN Workspaces for artists and students supported by social experiences and views of the nile river.

5th FLOOR PLAN Digital gallery rotating around the building facade for the pedestrains while the inside is collaboration spaces for artists.

1st FLOOR PLAN Connected to the nile side this space brings experience of seatings between the green to serve the daily pedestrians and bring joy and quality to their walkthrough along the nile.

DOWNTOWN_URBAN-HOUSING DESIGN STUDIO REVITALIZATION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLEX IN TAHRIR CAIRO.

because of the development of the new Administrative Capital in Egypt. All the located governmental buildings in downtown cairo are being functionally replaced to be heritage and recreational sites .with the replacement of some with housing units to serve the visitors and tourists.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT AND CONNECTION SITUATION AXONOMETRIC _ CONCEPT DIAGRAM

The plot was designed to host affordable housing units for the parliament and site visitors. Designed to connect with the nearby hotel plot to the horizontal pedestrain walk intervention.

ZERO STEP Create as much recreational units with the luxury of having publics connections and green parks inbetween.

FIRST STEP Identifying main axis for the plot by extending possible connections with other plots.

THIRD STEP Place the courtyard and linear typologys in the best coordination possible for shading, access and privacy.

SECOND STEP Offseting the main axis creating a grid that identify different zones to place housing units, markets and parks.

FOURTH STEP Cutting through the buildings using the pre made grids to create connection and circulation.
