ceremony locations The Summit Most couples consider the most spectacular of our ceremony sites to be our Summit Wedding Deck. Vow your love and devotion on our beautiful summit deck overlooking the valley below. Fee: $7 per person (minimum charge of $1,000)* Slopeside Our mid-mountain ceremony location is known as Slopeside. A Hunter Mountain vehicle will pick up your guests at the Kaatskill Mountain Club and drive them directly to Slopeside, and then to your on-site reception location immediately following. Fee: $500 (includes on site transportation for your guests)* The Pine Grove The Pine Grove is located at the base of the mountain, in a sheltered location amidst fragrant pine trees. The mountains rise up as a breath-taking backdrop for your wedding photos. Fee: $250 (an ideal location for anyone looking to keep costs to a minimum)*
*As with all our ceremony sites, any rentals chosen will also be applied to the wedding invoice.

f.a.q. All weddings at Hunter Mountain are customized to suit your needs. Your party should reflect you and your desires; therefore we will work closely with you to determine final menu selections. Can I have a custom menu item? Yes! Please let us know if there is a cherished family recipe you would like to include. Do you offer menu tastings? Menu tastings may be arranged upon request at a fee of $75.
Is a deposit required to secure my wedding date? A deposit in the amount of $2,000 is required to secure the date for your event. All deposits and pre-payments are noncancellable and non-refundable.
How long will our wedding cocktail hour and reception be? All weddings at Hunter Mountain are a minimum of 5 hours long, beginning with cocktail hour & hors d’oeuvres for one hour, followed by a 4-hour reception.
What is included in the menu pricing? Menu pricing includes standard linens (not floor length) in your choice of 25+ colors. Floor length linens are available in white, ivory, or black for an additional fee of $25 per table. Specialty linens available upon request—additional fees will apply.
Does the chef bake a wedding cake? A wedding cake is not included in menu pricing. We would be happy to recommend a bakery upon request.
I have children attending. Is there a kid's menu? Yes! A children’s menu is available upon request for our guests under 10 years of age.
Is this your current menu list? Menus and prices subject to change until deposit and signed agreement have been received by Hunter Mountain.
What if someone in my family cannot or does not want to ride the chairlift to and from the summit? Upon request, we are happy to drive a limited number of guests to and from the summit for the ceremony.
Taxes and fees? All pricing is subject to 8% NY Sales Tax and 23% Service Charge (18% Gratuity + 5% Administrative Fee).
