We offer a curated range of cabinetry, worktops, paint choices and hardware which reflect our commitment to inspired design and unparalleled and impeccable quality Using the best materials, informed design and finest craftsmanship, we are proud to manufacture all of our cabinetry at our workshop in Felsted, Essex
DESIGN PROCESS
We don’t have a one-size-fits-all approach to the design process.
At the heart of every project is a collaborative working relationship based on trust and confidence It is all about us listening to your wishes, your practical considerations, your desired aesthetic and translating that brief into a beautiful handmade kitchen
We design, manufacture and install cabinetry in all rooms in the home, not just kitchens We have a holistic approach to our design projects, so if we can assist clients with further aspects of the interior design and specification of fixtures, furniture and accessories we will very happily do so

Having seen a kitchen designed by Humphrey Munson in Homes & Gardens magazine, we approached the company to design and build a kitchen, pantry, boot room and cloakroom in our new home, pretty much at the same time we appointed our architects to design the house.
Peter Humphrey and the design team took little time to create rooms that we fell in love with and happily worked directly with our architects and contractor to ensure the process was executed seamlessly
Over the period of our relationship with them we can honestly say that we have never dealt with a more professional, creative, accommodating team of people
Peter, Nathan, Louisa and the two Toms have been a delight to work with. Their communication has been exemplary and every step of the process has been meticulously outlined and followed up
Delays with the build that had impacted installation of the kitchen were dealt with practically and quickly and the HM team worked extremely well alongside our contractor

HOW WE WORK
As an owner-led business, Humphrey Munson is able to control the quality of its product and service thanks to the diligence and dedication of Peter Humphrey. We work on a certain number of projects a year because we chose quality over quantity
With a particular focus on the translation of the project from design into production and then into installation, Peter Humphrey is renowned in the industry for his exacting standards
TIMELINE
DESIGN
The design stage varies depending on the scope of the project; for new builds and large scale renovations there can be many months in design, but for quicker projects where an existing kitchen is being replaced the design stage is much shorter. The design stage includes the initial design consultation, design presentation meeting and detailed design meetings We like to visit sites once the initial detailed design work has been completed and we have a good working concept for the design and functionality of the kitchen (and other rooms)
PRODUCTION
Our lead time for manufacturing is 12 weeks from a successful production survey to gather full and final dimensions for production and subject to availability
INSTALLATION
The installation of a kitchen will take approximately 4 weeks For each additional room we suggest allowing an additional week, however, this does vary so the predicted installation period will be given by the PM team once they have reviewed the project

Every project is personal to us We are a small company with around 60 employees Your HM project team will consist of:

Creative Lead - design lead.
Designer - preparation of detailed design plan & elevation drawings.
Client Services - administration.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Project Manager - overall responsibility for the project management and installation of the project.
Site Surveyor - visits project sites for production and installation surveys.
M&E Technician - preparation of service drawings for site contractors.
