Supplies: 2” sari silk ribbon 28.5 mm filigree 10” 6lb. Fireline thread Beading needle

Directions: 1. Roll the end of the ribbon around itself several times. 2. Sew the thread through the knot horizontally. 3. Continue wrapping and sewing through the flower every 4 or 5 turns. 4. For the last few wraps, wrap the ribbon a little loose and pull the edge of the ribbon to give it some body. 5. Sew the rose securely severely times. If there are any parts of the flower that are loose, sew it into the flower, hiding the threads on the under part of the flower. 6. Sew the rose unto the filigree until it’s securely attached.

1. String polymer clay disk bead on eyepin, create loop. Attach pendant to eyepin. Attach 15mm jump ring and branch ring to the pendant with an etched jump ring. 2. Create 3 links with the one copper seed bead, one ----bead, one copper seed bead on a 2� eyepin, create loops for each link. Attach the 3 links together. Attach the 3 links to the jump ring and branch ring with an etched jump ring. 3. Create a link with a copper spacer, copper bead, copper spacer on a 2� jump ring. Attach the copper bead link to the ---bead links with a 12mm jump ring. 4. Create two links with a ceramic bead on a eyepin, attach both links together. Attach the copper bead link with the ceramic bead link. 5. Attach the chain to the last ceramic link. Repeat pattern on the other side. Attach the toggle clasp to the etched jump ring.

1. Create beaded fringe. String fringe on 15mm jump ring. 2. Attach pendant with 6mm jump ring to the 15mm jump ring. 3. Create a wrapped loop around the shell and one above the shell. String on shell unto the 15mm jump ring. 4. Fold the silk in half – thread the center of the ribbon through the jump ring with the loop of the silk poking through. Pull the ends of the silk through the loop of silk and pull tightly to attach to the jump ring.

Branch Fringe Fig. 1 Step One: String 9 seed beads. Tie into a circle. Pass through two beads. Step Two: Pick up 11 seed beads. Skip the last seed bead added and pass up through the next 3 seed beads. Fig. 2 Step Three: Pick up 4 seed beads. Skip the last seed bead added and pass through the next 3 seed beads. Pass through the next 3 seed beads. Fig. 3 Step Four: Pick up 4 seed beads. Skip the last seed bead added and pass through the next 3 seed beads. Pass through the next 3 seed beads. Step Five: Pick up 4 seed beads. Skip the last seed bead added and pass through the next 3 seed beads. Pass through the next 3 seed beads. This completes the first branch fringe. Pass your needle and thread through the next 3 seeds of the 9 seed bead circle. Fig. 4 Step One: Pick up 7 seed beads. Skip the last seed bead added and pass up through the next 2 seed beads. Step Two: Pick up 3 seed beads. Skip the last seed bead added and pass through the next 2 seed beads. Pass through the next 2 seed beads. Step Three: Three: Pick up 3 seed beads. Skip the last seed bead added and pass through the next 2 seed beads. Pass through the next 2 seed beads. Step Four: Pick up 3 seed beads. Skip the last seed bead added and pass through the next 2 seed beads. Pass through the last seed bead and through the next 5 seed beads of the circle. Fig. 5 Repeat Steps 1-4 for the Second Branch fringe. Weave your thread into the beadwork. Knot and tie off.

Tools: Melting Pot Create the Pendant: 1. Turn on the Melting Pot to the UTEE setting. Cut the image to fit inside the bezel. Sprinkle on the UTEE powder, filling up the bezel. 2. Place the bezel on a small piece of paper with the edges folded up to remove easily from the Melting Pot. Wait until the UTEE melts completely and carefully lift the paper holding the bezel. DO NOT TOUCH THE PENDANT UNTIL IT COOLS!


Necklace: 1. Attach a 15mm jump ring to the pendant. Attach a second 15mm jump ring to the first jump ring. Attach the starfish with a small jump ring and string it onto the second jump ring. String a spacer, lampwork bead and spacer unto the 1� headpin, form a loop and a attach to the large jump ring above the pendant. 2. Create 4 beaded links with a lampwork glass beads with a spacer on each side of the bead, finish with a simple loop. 3. Attach a beaded link to the pendant with an etched jump ring. Remove 2 links of the chain. Attach the chain to the beaded link with a small jump ring. 4. Attach the next beaded link to the chain with a small jump ring. Attach ---“ of the chain to beaded link with a small jump ring and an etched jump ring. 5. Attach the toggle leaf to the other side of the chain with a jump ring. 6. Repeat the pattern on the other side of the necklace. Attach the shell charm to the last etched jump ring and attach a 15mm jump ring to finish the Pendant: Captured Moments.
