THE PROBLEM & SOLUTION

How might we improve driver safety and experience in lesser normal conditions?

By providing drivers with visual data perceived by LIDAR sensors on the windshield and dashboard screen.

DESIGN PRINCIPLES

Design considers users needs and context of use. Understanding problems faced by the user and Providing thoughful solutions.

Beautiful Simple

Beautiful Design focuses on creating visually appealing And emotionally engaging experiences through Harmonious aesthetics.

Simple Design emphasizes clarity and ease of use by Reducing complexity and streamlining interactions for Efficient user experiences.

BLINDSPOT MONITOR

DRIVER ALERT STATES

A dedicated camera is employed to monitor the driver's blind spots, selectively Activating when an object is in close proximity to the car. This approach aims to minimize driver distractions and enhance overall safety during driving experiences.

AUDIO ASSISTANCE

Along with simple and thoughtful features that help visualize data perceived through sensors, audio signals will be provided to the driver as well for assistance which adds a sensorial aspect to our design.

Scenario 1

For everyday navigation, the windshield doubles as a screen for displaying guidelines to navigate through lesser normal conditions. This Windscreen highlights the path with a blue illumination, and there are arrows pointing in the direction of the turn. A pedestrian crossing in front of vehicle is highlighted in red to alert the driver.

Scenario 2 In lesser normal conditions with low visibility, The highlighted pathway, cars and pedestrians become more important and assist the driver. The distance to turns and other objects is  also displayed.

Scenario 3

The vehicles that are close to or getting closer to the user’s vehicle gets highlighted in red to alert the driver. The system uses a colour system of green, yellow and red to indicate different levels of Proximity.

Scenario 5

If there are Positive and Negative spaces on the road, they are highlighted red and the distance till the space is also indicated.

Leda

TARGET AUDIENCE

Design considers users needs and context of use. Understanding problems faced by the user and providing thoughtful solutions.

DESIGN IDEOLOGY

AUTOMATION LEVEL

Our tech, featuring environmental detection, navigates spaces and lanes. Paired with automation, LEDA enables autonomous driving, needing driver input only in challenges like low visibility. In such cases, the system offers visualized data for informed decisions, ensuring a safer driving experience.

Using LEDA, our vehicles can instantly sense and analyze surroundings,

data,

in any situation.

Design Process

User Identification and Flow Creation

• Identified the target audience and developed a user flow to outline their journey and interactions with the product.

Initial Research and Interviews

•Finding videos, research and news articles about similar technology and cars.

•Interview data: Integrating sensors for audio-visual indicators, a dashboard alert system for maintenance and potholes, and a dashcam can significantly ease parking challenges and enhance driving safety.

Brand Identity Development and Initial Design Concepts

•Establishing the core brand identity and created early design prototypes to visualize the concept.

Usability Testing

•Performing usability tests to assess the design's effectiveness and gather feedback for improvements.

•User’s Feedback: enhance with 3D visuals, merge design into the rearview mirror, introduce gestural controls, and enlarge map and lane previews for comprehensive entertainment integration.

Refinement and Finalization of UI

•Refined the user interface based on feedback and finalized the design for launch.

Few Drives

Remaining vigilant about driving safety.

Mastery And Confidence
