Dry Falls Brewing Co. Dry Falls Brewing Co. started out as a dream between father and son while sitting in a brewery on family vacation. Romanticizing the idea while drinking a flight of twenty-four different brews, Jeff and Evan found their next father/son hobby. They dove into books on brewing, purchased home brewing equipment and decided to brew full grain, just like the pros! Over a six-month period, they built a small working brewery inside Jeff’s garage. Friends, family, and neighbors started coming over and sharing pints.

In 2015 Evan’s mother finally pushed her boys in the direction they needed. She gave the ultimatum “Do it, or stop talking about it.” In August 2016, Dry Falls Brewing Co. was founded and later purchased the Kanuga Rd location. They saw the old body shop for what is could be; a great place for a brewery. Prost!

Guidon Brewing Co. Guidon Brewing Co. (Pronounced Guide On) is a veteran, American, German, and family owned and operated company dedicated to the art of brewing high quality, carefully crafted beer. Our combined knowledge of fine quality food and beverages from around the world drives our passion to provide our customers with the same quality we’ve come to know and love.

We also strive to provide an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere. This is known as Gemutlichkeit in Germany and it’s a word that projects a feeling of friendliness, relaxation and cheerfulness.

The Guidon is a type of military flag that represents the organization and serves as a rallying point for troops on the battlefield. We chose it as our logo because we want to be seen as the rallying point for craft beer. Each component of a military guidon has meaning and so does ours. The black and Gold colors represent my service with the United States Army, the “B” represents our family name, the “4” represents the number of members of our family, and the “2” represents our two countries of origin, U.S.A. and Germany.

Asheville’s Original Craft Brewery Highland Brewing was founded in 1994 by retired engineer and entrepreneur Oscar Wong, establishing it as the pioneer of Asheville, NC’s now booming craft beer industry. Since 2015, the company has been led by Wong’s daughter, Leah Wong Ashburn, and has 60 full-time employees.

With a portfolio that is equal parts established and inventive, Highland is known for consistently excellent beer. The brewery is in a rehabilitated manufacturing facility on a hilltop, affording space for thousands of visitors to enjoy limited release beers, tours, walking trails, and live music.

Wineries Fruit of the Vine...

A tasting tour of Western North Carolina isn’t limited to beer and cider. Bold Rock Hard Cider Bold Rock Hard Cider uses locally-sourced North Carolina apples to craft their award-winning hard cider in the heart of apple country - Henderson County. Visit their Cidery located in Mills River to tour the facility and learn more about their production process before relaxing in their large tap room or enjoying live music in the outdoor cider garden and patio.

Bold Rock Mills River features a unique birds-eye view of the production line. Knowledgable staff will be happy to explain the varying blends and you can grab logo’ed merchandise or cider-to-go.
