Welcome to your guide on maximising the impact of GOVGuild memberships on your team and agency.

As a manager, your support is vital in helping your team member/s unlock the full potential of their GovGuild experience and extend its benefits to the broader team.

This guide provides a journey overview. It offers specific nudges and questions for ongoing reflection and activities to inspire growth and create a ripple effect of positive change.

The journey

The GOVguild Journey is designed to support members in designing and building their Good Work Life through a variety of evidenced-based quests and experiences. Here is an overview of the journey members are on:

Every Day: Micro Daily Actions. GOVguild encourages members to engage in small, sciencebased actions every day to foster a kinder and healthier APS. These actions may include practicing gratitude, engaging in mindful activities, or promoting positive interactions.

Every Week: Connecting. Weekly challenges are provided to promote connection and engagement. These challenges may involve games, quizzes, or the use of LEGO® Serious Play® methodology to encourage reflection, creative problem-solving and storytelling.

Every Month: Reciprocal/Peer Mentoring. Reciprocal/Peer mentoring is facilitated to enable members to practice mentoring skills, receive feedback, and engage in meaningful debriefs. This program supports the development of mentoring capabilities and expands members professional networks.

Every Quarter: 90 Day Performance Series. The 90 Day Performance Series focuses on planning, actioning, and gaining insights for personal and professional growth. Assessments and learnings are incorporated to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Every Year: Celebrations & Learnings. At the end of each year, GOVguild celebrates achievements and learns from experiences. The 1% Challenge encourages members to set relevant wellbeing goals and make incremental improvements. Awards may be given to recognise outstanding contributions, and the ripple effects of individual and collective efforts are acknowledged.
