How to apply for Hugh Baird College Step 1 Making an application to college Inside this prospectus and on our website, you will find an application form. It is important to find out as much as you can about the courses and the college before making an application. Discuss your ideas at home or with your careers teacher and Connexions advisor. You can also visit the college at one of the open events or we can arrange a separate visit where you can see the college for yourself.

Step 2 Meeting the tutor at the college We will invite you into the college to meet a course tutor. This will give you another opportunity to find out about the course, meet staff and view the facilities. You will be offered a conditional or unconditional place, depending on the course and the entry requirements. For example, a conditional offer is made for an A Level course on the condition that you gain the GCSE grades.

Step 3 Enrol at the college We will invite you to enrol at Hugh Baird College from the end of June throughout the summer. The busiest enrolment period is the end of August when many students have received the results required to meet the conditions of the course. 80
