Design Concept Technical drawings
The design concept is inspired by the idea of relaxation, where individuals seek a comfortable spot to sit and lean arms. This is a feature that many people desire when spending time in public spaces. The design of the piece was carefully considered to incorporate a space for reclining.
The selection of materials for the piece was tailored to its specific purpose. Also, considering the climatic conditions it will endure, all materials are resilient to outdoor atmosphere , requiring minimal maintenance or replacement.
The design lines took inspiration from the overall lines utilized in the architecture of the buildings and blocks across the site.
The name was chosen and engraved in Arabic on the bench to give the design an Arabian identity that matches the culture of the place.

Creating a design that usefully combines the functions of all senses while bridging the perceived gap between visual and interactive functions for autistic patients
Location Consideration
The Eastern Province is the largest region in Saudi Arabia. It is located in the east of the country on the coast of the Arabian Gulf. It was famous for pearl fishing in the past. This concept was chosen to reflect it in the piece. In addition, the choice fell on the Eastern Province because it contains the largest number of people with autism.

The idea was inspired by the Al-Dahna desert and the saying of Yaqoot Al-Hamawi
“The Dahna has seven ropes in its width, between each two ropes is a plants ”

Concept philosophy
From the architect’s point of view in reading the context of the city and drawing his inspiration from the city in which he will implement the project, the Al-Dahna desert, which is located within the northern borders, was chosen as it consists of high sand dunes and between them formed green islands.

An auditorium is a space to enable an audience to hear and watch performances in lecture rooms and theatres.
In this project, the auditorium is designed as a part of Barinary Computer Science & Technology College. It will be used for lectures, conferences, and events.
The auditorium shape is a shoe box and it’s treated to be suitable for its type of use.
The project shows how as designers we can provide suitable space for whatever function custom needs by acoustic design.
