Vijay Gupta Architects (VGA) was founded in 1964 by Mr Vijay Gupta and his wife, Mrs Sushma Gupta, delivering well-thought designs that are user-centric, time and cost efficient spaces.
Building on the values and ideologies fostered by Mr Gupta, the firm is now helmed by four Partners – Saurabh Gupta, Alpana Gupta, Arti Gugnani and Akanksha Gupta. With its strong foothold in educational and healthcare projects and a diverse portfolio supported by commercial, residential and public building projects, VGA is committed to making well-designed spaces accessible to all.

• AIM WAS TO KEEP THE ENTRY SPACE OPEN WITHOUT ANY HINDERANCE.
• WHILE DESIGNING THE WALL FOCUS WAS TO ARRANGE ALL THE STUDENT READABLES FROM ON SIDE OOF ALREADY EXISTING DOOR.
• AND GIVE AND SEPERATE SPACE FOR THE MISSION AND VISON OF UNIVERSITY YO CREATE A FOCUS ON IT
• THREE VERTICAL SHELVES WERE ADDED TO THE WALL.
• AIM WAS TO NOTICE THE THREE COLUMNS EVEN WHILE WALKING.

• INTRODUCTION
• The objective of the site visit was to handover the drawings of Hostel block and discuss the interior of Library.
• Moreover issues regarding the status of project were also discussed.
OBSERVATION
LIBRARY
• Reception Area was discussed, wherein design for each wall was discussed
• Selection for the Table top tile for the courtyard area.
• The entry front walls will have wooden interior as per the options handled by VGA.
• Designing the shelves (to accommodate Thesis, BML Authors & Constellation) for the transition corridor in Three Vertical segiments.
• Designing the entry wall which will have entry system, notice board, mission vision and library rules.
• In discussion the client and architect agreed to not have umbrellas in the courtyard.
• The entry should be clear and no hinderance due to the entry report table, which will be now shifted to the property keeping room.
OBSERVATION
T_6 RESIDENTIAL BLOCK
• The G+12 Hostel block was structurally complete till 4th floor and interior structure is partially complete.
• The construction was slow due to lack of labour.
