Emperor Oysters
thrive in the Seto Inland Sea vicinity of Okayama, renowned as the "oyster haven." This region bene ts from an uncontaminated river canal directly connecting to the ocean, devoid of human settlement. The purest water, gentle waves and moderate tidal current create an optimal environment for the oysters' cultivation to achieve their delectable quality.
West side: Hiroshima & Okayama
Nestled between majestic mountains and serene ocean, this is where mineral-rich nutrients ow from the mountain to the sea.
This natural process imparts the Emperor Oysters with a harmonious blend of salinity and an exceptional umami avour.
For 18 years, the Japanese government has consistently examined the water quality in this area, yet no irregularities have been detected within the water.
The abundance in plankton furnishes the essential nutrients for robust oyster growth which results in generously sized, eshy oysters possessing signi cant nutritional worth. Their distinguishing feature lies in their subtle and re ned umami essence.
Freezing Technology
Emperor Oyster adopts the DENBA+ special freezing method that retains good taste even after thawing. A proprietary technology that generates static electricity that produces electronic ne vibration to thaw the oyster’s surface uniformly and minimise cell membrane disruption.
By creating an electrostatic wave environment, it can e ectively prevent the oxidation of food ingredients while inhibiting bacterial growth.
This high quality thawing prevents any dripping thus preserving the umami essence.
Commitment to Quality & Safety
Once imported to Singapore, all oysters are subjected to rigorous quarantine procedures mandated by the SFA. Only those that meet the stringent quality standards are allowed to be distributed to consumers. As a result, you can indulge in these sashimi-grade oysters with absolute con dence, knowing that they have passed the necessary inspections and are safe for consumption.
