Hello and a very warm welcome to this production of Rapunzel, written and directed by Hull Truck Theatre’s Associate Director, Tom Saunders. The festive season is our favourite time of the year, when we welcome audiences of all ages to experience the magic of live theatre. We especially love to see the delighted faces of our young audience members as they take their first steps in what we hope is a lifelong love of theatre. Trained at Hull University. Amy is a familiar face to young children and their parents as a regular presenter on Channel 5’s Milkshake! Theatre credits include: The Full Monty UK & Ireland tour, Shakers (East Riding Theatre); Sully (Hull Truck Theatre); Teechers Hull Truck Theatre & UK tour; Muddy Cows (Stephen Joseph Theatre & UK tour). Dick Whittington, Jack and the Beanstalk (Scarborough Spa); Beauty & the Beast (St Helens Theatre Royal), Sleeping Beauty (Malvern Theatres, Mansfield Palace and Floral Pavilion, New Brighton); Cinderella (Blackpool Grand, Sunderland Empire, York Opera House and Weston Playhouse); Snow White (Rhyl Pavilion); Aladdin (Blackpool Grand); Jack (Malvern Theatres); Beauty and the Beast (York Theatre Royal); Little Red Riding Hood (Hull Truck Theatre). Amy is the voice of Lexi in the children’s animated series ‘Bush Baby World’ and voices various characters in the animated film ‘Here comes the Grump’. She is also a presenter on BBC Radio Humberside.
JO PATMORE
Robin
Trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (Graduated 2020). Jo is an actor, singer and musician from the East Riding of Yorkshire. Theatre credits include: The Highwayman (The John Godber Company); Ladies Down Under (New Vic Theatre); Romeo & Juliet (ActionToTheWord); Beverley Does Broadway (SheProductions); Ladies’ Day (New Vic Theatre); The Pirates of Christmas Island (SheProductions); As You Like It (New Vic / Northern Broadsides); Frost Hollow Hall (East Riding Theatre); Queen Mab (Flux Theatre); Rogers and Hart and Hammerstein (BBC Radio 3); Buzzing, Her Naked Skin, The Snow Queen (BOVTS).

Trained at Edge Hill University, graduating in 2019 with a BA in acting. She has since toured across the UK with Performance in Education and North East Producers. Theatre credits include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado About Nothing (Time and Again); Treasure Island (Tread The Boards). TV credits include: A Kind Of Spark (CBBC); The Betrayal (Amazon).
