Assisi Bridge House clients live in a structured community setting where responsibilities are shared. The men run the household with the support of trained staff.
COMMITMENT
The men of ABH acknowledge a substance use disorder and voluntarily admit themselves into the Assisi Bridge House program. They make a commitment to work toward successful recovery.
CHANGE
The program of ABH requires the men do personal growth work to make changes needed to be successful in life and recovery. Healthy life skills are taught and encouraged.

H OW L O N G I S T H E P R O G R A M ? Clients stay at least 120 days to complete the program . C A N I G O TO W O R K ? Typically residents may start a job search after they present their 90 day report, if the staff agrees that they have met all criteria. C A N FA M I LY V I S I T ? There is a monthly family group therapy session and two visit weekends per month. Two family day events per year are also scheduled. H OW M U C H D O E S I T C O S T ? Residents of Louisiana may be eligible to have their fees fully or partially paid through Medicaid or South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority. H OW M A N Y B E D S A R E T H E R E ? There are 15 beds at Assisi Bridge House and 4 at Independent Living.
