Annual REPORT 2021-2022

On The Front Cover

This statue of Mary was gifted to the school by Ms. Pamela Anderson the very first year Holy Trinity opened in Longs. It took some time after Hurricane Florence, but she was finally brought to her new home in North Myrtle Beach when the turf and seat wall project was completed.

Dear Valued Holy Trinity Catholic School Families and Supporters:

It is hard to believe that Holy Trinity Catholic School has begun its fourteenth year of operation. At times, it feels like just yesterday that we welcomed our first 22 students, and yet here we are, 90 students later and still growing. I feel blessed to be a part of this amazing, faith-filled journey and to watch the school grow and evolve. While the future of the world seems uncertain, the hope and joy our students display on a daily basis is truly inspiring and uplifting.

During the 2022-2023 school year, our plans are to continue to strengthen our position as a leader in early childhood and elementary Catholic education. Having settled into our new K4-5th grade school structure, and having navigated many obstacles, our focus is securely on the future. We strive daily to help our students develop a solid foundation of skills on which to build their future years of learning.

We will continue to provide rigorous academics infused with technology, and we will do all we can to make Catholic education possible for those families who want it. Of course, everything we do will be done based on Gospel values. This year’s annual fund campaign will provide the funds to make these things happen.

This report provides a small look back at the 2021-2022 academic year. Thank you to all those who make Holy Trinity Catholic School possible. I pray that God blesses all of you as you have blessed us. Please know that we hold you in our prayers and in our hearts each and every day.

Mrs. Luzzo has been with Holy Trinity since it opened in 2009. She has taught 1st through 8th grades at HTCS, with a focus on Language Arts and Religion. The 2022-2023 academic year marks her seventh year as Principal.
