TBE founded Cummings Research Park and has provided Space Engineering Services for over 65 years in Huntsville. We have designed, built, integrated, and operated space flight hardware since 1953.

Prime contractor for the ISS Payload Ops and Integration Contract for 20 years. We have operated and integrated over 3000 payloads.

Recent examples - Ring Shear Drop Experiment and the Multi User System for Earth Sensing (MUSES) platform.

As the Lead Contractor for the HSV Landing TBE: introduced the concept, led Phase 1, leads Phase 2 and with SNC and the community, leads the effort to land a mission at HSV. 2

History of the HSV FAA Licensing Pursuit •

Phase 1 - Feasibility Assessment completed 12/15 - TBE managed with subcontractors RS&H/Morell Engineering – completed runway analysis to determine the skid plate would not damage the runway and ensured feasibility of landing the DC at HSV. • Phase 2a - Huntsville specific preliminary studies (EA, Trajectory, Ec) and tool development for FAA Part 433 (HSV Airport – License to Operate A Reentry Site) and Part 435 (Dream Chaser/HSV Feasibility Reentry Vehicle License) ~ 6 months, FAA 433 and 435 Initial Concept of Final Funding Secure TBE/SNC/RS&H. Study Licensing Landing at HSV Completed Submitted • Airport Phase 2b – Final EA, Ec, Trajectories Analysis and submittal of 433/435 License Applications to FAA ~ 18 months, TBE/SNC/RS&H 3

HSV Based Landing Potential Opportunities •

CRS-2 Missions – current window for SNC is 2021 – 2024.
