2/ Importance of plants and pens around desk environment Pens are neceesary tools while doing things on the desk.

Plants are not only have the function of decoration on the desk, but also improve human's psychological health. A research also shos that indoor plants have also been shown to reduce the number of sick days taken by staff and improve job satisfaction in office environments.

Aims /

1. Decrease the occupied space on the desk Reduce the waste of production by intergrating products. Integrated products and compact its volume to let the space be used efficiently

2. Benefits for psychological condition According to a resercher from environmental and technical policy manager at Nursery and Garden Industry Australia (NGIA). More than half of office employees believe that their workplaces don't contain enough plants and workers feel more positive with plants around them.

Around one in three workers go so far as saying that they have more energy when they have plants around, that plants help them work more productively and that they'd even like to choose the types of plants they have at work.

Desk Light made by two different materials

Background / The topic from my product design course was lamp.

I wanted to fullfill the concept of sustainability via this project. The reason was while making models in the school's workspace, I could often see piles of materials were been thrown immetiately without having further usage. It causes a great amount of waste.

Therefore I collected materials which were thrown by others in order to be the value of usage to them, also to minimize the environmental impacts.

Inspiration / 1.Material : In this project I experimented the potential of combining different materials. I used plastic and wood, which their origin of manufacture are also different.

2.Form : Bamboo is one of the main plant in Taiwan, it can be made as a cuisine and decoration, bamboo appears commonly around Taiwanese lives.

To make the shape of bamboo, the main body is formed in conical shape, the detail of slices are presented by different matdrials.

Idea Sketch / The bigger slice would be made by acrylic, to be the function for penetrating the LED light from the center stick.

The smaller slice would be made by pinewood, to be the decoration for the whole body .

The rural population of the world has grown slowly since 1950 and is expected to reach its peak in a few years. The global rural population is now close to 3.4 billion and is expected to rise slightly and then decline to 3.1 billion by 2050.

2. The ageing crisis threatening farming

According to the age proportion of agriculture in Taiwan between 1990 and 2011, the proportion of younger conterpart has been lower and lower.

Younger generation getting less interest in agriculture job: Because: 1. The style of work isn’t attractive to younger generation.

2. It has become unconvenient due to the distance between urban and rural.

Therefore: The need of agriculture has become highly demand, and the productivity must be increased as well. So it is important to motivate and encourage young people to invest the agriculture. To sustains the people from all over the world.

Goal / " To convince younger generation that agriculture

job is worth to do, and teach them how inportant is the agriculture."

" To discover better methode than tranditional both students and teachers."

Target Audience / To students in Kindergarten and Elemantary School who live in urban area are diffficult to see and experience agriculture.

To give all students who live in urban area an agriculture education.

Teach them everything about it and to motivate them to do agriculture.

Design Process / During the process I wanted the form to be similiar to the agricultural product. I found that bamboo fits the imagination of the Agrilearn tenacious and unyielding. Then simplify its form into basic geometry.

Concept of Education Mode / Nowadays E-Learning is becoming one the most poupular educational trends around the world.

The following technology will be applied by agrilearn:

Hologram Projection: Projector

Hologram provides real-life projection, students will be able to have authentic perception from agriculture.

IoT Transmit : Recorder

By the assistance of IoT the recorder will be able to transmit the field's image and farmers' audio to the projector.

The government and the manufacturer of devices could inplements recycle plans and collabarate with institutions which involve in doing recycle. Not only fullfill the obligaiton for taking good care of environment protection, but also enhance government's reputation.

Background / 01/ Living Space The urbanization in whole world has been exponentially grown, more and more people live in urban area. Turns out the living space has become narrower and affect the life quality.

03/ human and animal The research shows that pets could be the conflict mediator to conciliate and improve the interpersonal relationship.Plus having pets has less burden than having chrildren in both economical and metal way. People are more and more willing to have pets.

Design a new kind of transportation, which keep the mobility and coziness from motorcycle and four wheels car.

Design and arrange a interior space to make families easier to reach others in the tranportation.

Who / For families whom its number of members are under than three people, especially having pet.

Size / Size is one of the important trail for this transportation, to make the size more suitable to urban area and prosperous einvironment. I set the size of the transportation between motorcycle and four wheel car, also keep the advantage from both.

Advantages: flexible mobility, lower cost

Advantages: wide space, multi-functional

Disadvantages: uncomfortable space, narrow space

Disadvantages: higher cost, hard to find parkspace

The front chair is rotatable, to make front seater able to to the table with back seater.

Two cabinets are placed beneath the back sitting area.

One cabinet is plaeced under the dasboard area.

Human Factors / Exterior / The scale of this vehicle is front head drived and the arrangement of wheels are two at the front side and one at the back side.The whole volume is between a normal four-wheels car and a motorcycle. The inspiration of the form style origin of the imagination toward the familiy by the public.

Interior / Seats from the interior are designed for two people. The seats are on the different sides to make the space more wide. The multi-functional space is been settled at the back seat, which could be a place for pets or be a storing corner.

Plus there is a foldable table settled between two seats to be as a common space for interaction.
