SOCIAL SCIENCE DBA (Basic Learning Right):

• Understand that there are diverse explanations and theories about the origin of the universe in our quest to understand that we are part of a larger world.

AIM:

• Interpret different scientific theories about the origin of the universe (Big Bang, inflationary, multiverse), which allow them to recognize how we emerged, when and why.

• Explain the elements that make up our solar system: planets, stars, asteroids, comets and their relationship to life on Earth.

• Compare scientific and religious theories and myths of ancient cultures about the origin of the universe.

• Express the importance of exploring the universe as a possibility to understand the origin and change of life forms on Earth.

Speaking: Brainstorming, debate and discuss a point of view

• For this step, students are expected to get an idea of the topic to be covered during the lesson from an attractive video presentation.

PRESENTATION STAGE

Through the question How was the universe created? students will present their points of view from the religious and scientific aspect of theories they may know.

Opinions will be taken about these theories and the teacher will ask questions based on the video.

Once the theories have been identified we will divide the group of students to discuss the theories presented, recognizing both religious and scientific theories.

☺ These minutes will be taken to explain the structure of the lesson and some guidelines will be given regarding good conduct during the lesson.

☺ For this step, understanding will be verified through the validation of previous knowledge about the topic.

☺ Students will be able to express their ideas and knowledge through objective language effectively. This will verify their understanding of

We will watch a video in which they talk about creation according to another religion "Hinduism" and we will analyze their views and discuss them.

There is another theory that is represented in the movie Avatar in which it shows how everything is connected and arises in a cyclical way. Students Discuss about this theory.

PRODUCTION STAGE

• For this step, the students will discuss the theories seen during the presentation of the topic and in a team, activity will present the one that was most appealing to them.

After having explored several theories of the origin of the universe, work groups will be formed in which they will choose one of the theories seen or known and through an infographic or poster they will represent it, analyzing aspects such as background, theories, exponents and examples.

At the end, the teacher will take a few minutes to give feedback to each group.

☺ This activity will be verified through the facility in which they express their theory and the participation of each team member.

HOMEWORK: Consult one of the 33 theories of the origin of the universe, choose the one that catches your attention and through digital or physical tools make an infographic that represents it and allows you to explain it.
