Didactic Unit Template Teacher: Héctor Stevens Gómez Puerto Title of the Unit: Going Places Contextualization: This unit is focused on the learning of children with a basic level of English in elementary school. Justification: At the end of this unit, students will be able to understand and answer simple questions based on traditional travel vocabulary, as well as acquire new vocabulary and everyday expressions that they can use on their next vacation. Organization of the Didactic Unit: This unit will be divided into 3 lessons, in which new vocabulary and grammatical structures will be introduced, as well as testing communicative language skills.

General Objective

The student is able to recognize immediate some places and use the grammar structure to give information about traveling.

The student is able to ask and tell the time boarding and arrivals. • The student is able to practice common expressions when traveling. • The student is able to recognize common vocabulary about traveling. Future simple tense (going to vs will) – preposition of location – prepositions of time.
