The Ritz-Carlton, located in the heart of Tokyo, Japan, captures the essence of the city’s tourism and economy. Designed by Haeseong Lee, the RitzCarlton Hotel in Tokyo is a unique interpretation of a contemporary urban hotel, with a view of the waves of Lake Ota nearby.From the outside, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel is an imposing sight, with its advanced facade and dome ceiling windows that offer natural light for the lobby area.
MASSING EXPLORATION
In the center of the building, the curved curtain wall with the dome ceiling window gives natural light, as if the building is a part of organic flows from nature. The effect is both mesmerizing and calming, a testament to the power of architecture to create an emotional response in the viewer.
The wavy ceiling for the pool area is a marvel of engineering. Made of lightweight and durable materials, they are designed to provide sun light and sense of motion. As one approaches the building, the advanced truss for the wavy ceiling creates a sense of curiosity and intrigue, inviting the viewer to explore the space within.
In the past project, the design would be focused on color scheme related to material selection and changes. The color scheme effected on the revised design

The revised mezzanine level would be updated from the error of the designated level in the past project
In the original project, height standard of the mezzanine level was based on only circular building structure, which where is hospitality area. However, the level would meet with 2nd level of the building for the accommodations. The height boundary was ambiguous to call ‘Mezzanine Level.’
In the revised project, the boundary did clear up this point. The desitination for the mezzanine level includes cafeteria and wide stair case. There is no way going direct to the level, and the way has to be gone through the 2nd level area. Nevertheless, the waiting area of mezzanine level is worth enjoying the natural day light, from wide curtain wall windows, and void space of the building shape. The cafeteria of the level provides calm and relax mood with design partition.
There is different atmosphere that created by lighting and partion, even though the level has similar characteristics in terms of public waiting area.
While the wide curved wall is built into need ambient lights, the curtain wall window provides daylights for the wide stair case area. The atmosphere with natural lights can make gathering people, who use the building facilities, with bright wood flooring.
The differance of the atmosphere is created by lights. The artificial lights in the cafeteria support ambient mood to improve the characteristic of the private space.
The original project was focused on ceiling design. The lack of roof design made seperation of the ceiling dramatic as following the curved line. Accordingly, wall material changing was important elements to make better scene and view in terms of interior design in terms of color scheme of the space.
In the reviesed project, ceiling design for 2nd floor of the hospitality area becomes simple as making roof elements. The ceiling design is jsut following curved wall, but there is repetition according to leveling. The dome shaped curtain window system makes void, and this space made exposures of many building components including mechanical equipments. However, the problem was solved by interior design materials.

For the contemporary higher education, the requirements of the building can be classified in to three great groups: space, pedagogy and technology. This project focuses on these three features through use of products from Steelcase Inc. portfolio. The design for Next Hub could be an educational building for students who want to study and gain additional knowledge, skills and certifications.

the limit of the stepped structure was a restriction for flexible spaces required for blended learning models, which is a key element of the NEXT Project. In order to solve this problem, the design used a brighter color scheme such as soft tones of off-white, blue and green instead of white and neutral interiors. The colors are valuable for the students as the color of nature in terms of pedagogy. This made the flexible furniture distributed and blended through free movement and could support interactive learning spaces. In addition, use of the flexible furniture could enhance creativity and innovation of the students by providing the spaces for people who want to study new technology through collaboration.

조합을 통해 디자인하였고 L1과 함께 흡음 역할에 일조한다.

The primary focus was for the inhabitants, to be comfortable space physically and mentally as residential space. The whole residential building was designed to emphasize being alive and to bring overall harmony and coherence through combination of color scheme and finish materials.
INSPIRATION IMAGES
DESIGN STATEMENT | The monotone and white color throughout the building provide feeling of inviting, homey, optimistic, encouraging and stimulating to be alive. The color concept was chosen by finish materials, which meet sustainable and durable issues. Maximum natural light access to nature and views to the outside supports the mental functionality for the residential building through harmony between natural and artificial lighting.

기차길이 있기때문에 소음 및 진동 발생 우려가 있어서 주차
공간을 위치시켜 주거 공간과의 거리를 넓혔다.출입구는 교통 진행

설치해 주로 조식에만 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 1.5층은 켄틸레버 형식을 의도했지만 이를 취하기에는 구조적으로 취약했기때문에
