DETAILS OF MARCH MADNESS 2022, STUDENT OPINIONS

Every year around this time, excitement is felt by avid basketball fans. March is the time of March Madness, a NCAA basketball tournament. Each year, 68 teams compete in seven rounds for the national championship. On Selection Sunday, the entire bracket is reviewed and revealed by the Selection Committee. This year, Selection Sunday is Mar. 13 at 6pm eastern and will be shown on the CBS TV channel. schedule. Last year, for the first time ever, the entire tournament was played in Indiana with the majority of games played in Indianapolis. This year, things are back to normal and the first four games will be held in Dayton, OH, while the Final Four (the penultimate game) will be held in New Orleans. Many of the students here at HSE are excited for March Madness in the hopes that their teams make it far. A common pastime to engage in during the March Madness season is to fill out a bracket (similar to the one provided below) with

This could be an activity done alone, or with a group of friends to see who is the closest to correct. Regardless of how you choose to spend the season, or your interest in basketball in general, make this March a memorable one and keep your eyes peeled for how those around you choose to spend this time.
