Oakleigh Cannons Defeat St Albans Dinamo 2-0

In an intense match at Jack Edwards Reserve, St Al- bans Dinamo faced Oakleigh Cannons last Friday night. Despite their efforts, Dinamo couldn’t recover from Oakle- igh’s early 9th-minute goal, resulting in a 2-0 victory for Oakleigh. Oakleigh held onto their lead until halftime. Di- namo couldn’t �ind the equaliser, even after Oakleigh went down to 10 men in the 73rd minute due to a red card for Chris Lucas. Surprisingly, Oakleigh doubled their lead in the 88th minute with a penalty, sealing their win. Next up, Dinamo faces a tough challenge against second-placed South Melbourne at Lakeside Stadium on June 20th.
