Introducing eLFY...

What is eLFY? In our recent HRM Homecare Services staff surveys you asked for support to access online resources to enable you to keep in date with all your learning – rather than having to attend in person (and of course to be mindful of COVID-19 restrictions).

We are therefore delighted to promote to you our new e-learning platform eLFY, a.k.a. e-learning for you.

This new system will allow you to access training anywhere, anytime, without having to attend in person.

You will be allocated with courses that link directly to your role and must be completed to remain competent and compliant with Care Inspectorate and SSSC Registration Requirements.

What is eLFY? All courses are interactive, and easy to dip in and out of if you are short of time.

The only thing you have to complete in one go is the knowledge quiz at the end of each course – and they don’t take long.

This is intended to be a flexible and user-friendly system.

If you face a particular challenge in your role that you feel you need further support, eLFY can be used to help aid with these knowledge gaps through the huge variety of additional training courses that are available. You have all been sent usernames and login details.

SSSC Registration/Fitness To Practice As you are all aware all SSSC registered Support Workers/Staff must undertake relevant CPL in order to maintain and improve their skills and knowledge .

An additional benefit to the system is that all completed courses count towards your SSSC Continuous Professional Learning (CPL)requirement.

You must keep a record of your own CPL as you will be asked to confirm this when renewing your registration. eLFY will keep an electronic record of all the training you have completed making it easier for you when renewal is due.
