Hi, could you start by telling us a bit about yourself?

By profession, I am an economic technician and an insurance agent. I started working as a model since I was 18. In 2014 I was a finalist of Miss Slovenia, and in 2015 I was a finalist of Miss Universe.

I work as a model in the campaign for photoshooting, promotion, fashion shows and advertising for clothes.

Tell us about your journey so far?

My greatest strength as a model is the diversity I bring to my photo shoots. I do not want to give the same face all the time. As a model, I am great with posing and understanding the positioning of my body.

I grew up watching fashion and model shows, and that inspired me to practice my walk, my posing, and try new looks. I was approached in my late teens by a photographer and soon realised this was something I could pursue, as a full figure model. Receiving positive feedback from the small campaigns I have worked on has inspired me and to want continue this as a full-time career.

How would you describe your style?

My style is elegant, fashionable and creative.

Tell me about your experience as a model.

In Slovenia, two beauty contests for Miss Slovenia for Miss World and Miss Universe. Here in Switzerland now working as a Model Basel agency and Koala model agency Italy, Milan.

2020 has been the strangest of years, how did you find lockdown? Any lessons or discoveries?

A little more time for yourself, work on yourself, awareness of what we have and what you can be left with today tomorrow, no matter the business, going around the world in the end you depended only on yourself how you accept things and how you get out of any such situation! For me, there must be something good in this whole story.

What are your hopes for the future of the fashion industry?

The fashion industry has always been and always will be, it is difficult for this to fail or for anything to change, I believe in the fashion industry and its bright future.

Who have been some of your favorite collaborators so far in the industry?

Well some also continued their journey abroad, I wouldn’t name it by name, at my end in Switzerland there is no one to be from the same industry as me and achieve what I am.

They are in other countries and are already in other business.

What first piqued your interest in fashion and modeling?

I was simply born with this (lol). I knew from a young age what I was going to do and what I loved and I experienced that as well. I can’t answer that more fashion is me.

What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?

It’s fun almost everything. What it is not is that people expect perfection on fashion fasting as in real life, and everywhere in it, and we are also just people. So you have to get used to criticism and condemnation and not take it personally. It's all just business.

What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?

Departure to Switzerland and work here as a model, and in Slovenia the achievement of rankings in beauty treatments.

Do you have a favorite designeror high street brand?

I have a few more but my favorite two: Chanel and Louis Vuitton.

How has your style changed over the years?

As with age and time ... I always adored elegance otherwise as a younger I wore it a little less, but now it’s nb.1 with me in every sense.

What is your greatest strength?

My greatest strengths are independence and fearlessness! Desire for more!

What are your goals as a model?

I think I've achieved a lot in my years, so the only thing left for me is America haha ...

Otherwise, work with the most famous fashion designers!

How do you imagine a typical day in work?

A good healthy breakfast, a little yoga, a plan during the day, work, relaxation, time with loved ones and family.

What are your greatest accomplishments so far?

What sorts of settings/clothes/brands do you prefer to shoot for or wear?

I wear mixed, everything I like from the most famous brands to quite simple clothes.

We are huge fans of your Instagram. Do you have any tips or tricks for achieving an aesthetically awesome Instagram page?

Actually no. Show yourself what you are, quality pictures, post regularly ... be creative and original.

What’s the one habit you have that changed your life for the better?

Spiritual personal growth and work on yourself. Every achievement lets me know that I am doing the right thing and that I am on the right path.

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?

Belive in yourself and don’t give up at the first obstacle. Small steps lead you to big paths!

Singer Becky G launches fashion collection with PrettyLittleThing

Online retailer PrettyLittleThing is launching a fashion collection with its brand ambassador and singer/songwriter Becky G. The collection, available now, marks the first clothing line from Becky G, who recently won the first-ever American Music Award for ‘Favourite Latin Female Artist 2020’, the ‘E! People’s Choice Award for Latin Artist of 2020’.

Becky G worked closely with PrettyLittleThing creative director Teyana Taylor to bring her vision and creativity to life, to create a collection that channels her signature style, explained the fast-fashion brand.

The collection features street style hero pieces, with colour-clashing pops of pink and green, tie-dye sweat sets, wardrobe staples and motocross styles.

Speaking about her collection, Becky G said in a statement: “I’ve been a PrettyLittleThing brand ambassador for nearly a year now – they empower everything I believe in.

“Inclusivity is important to me and I wanted to continue leading the way in creating something for all body shapes and sizes which is something that PLT strongly supports, I am so thankful to them for allowing me to bring my vision to life and the process and journey has been so much fun, I can’t wait for my fans to see it and wear it!”

Reformation launches sustainable activewear collection

Los Angeles-based sustainable ready-to-wear apparel brand Reformation has launched its first activewear collection titled Ref Active. The collection includes crop tops and sports bras in flirty silhouettes and bike shorts and bodysuits in colors ranging from pastel hues to neutral tones.

Two unique fabrications are used throughout the collection: EcoMove fabric is a performance material intended for high-impact activities, while Ecostretch fabric is designed for more casual anytime wear.

Both fabrics come in various styles and colors and are produced from Repreve, which uses 100 percent post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. All fabrics are Oeko-Tex certified, meaning the material has been tested and is free of harmful chemical substances.

Reformation stated in a press release, “using traceable fiber print technology, Repreve fabrics are 100 percent traceable from raw material, yarn & mill, and the finished goods facility. Producing the fabric uses 45 percent less energy, 20 percent less water, and 30 percent less GHG Emissions than virgin polyester.”

A ring with 12,638 diamonds sets a Guinness World Record

Harshit Bansal, founder of Renani Jewels in Meerut, India, set the record with his impressive design on December 21, 2020.

The ring, named the Marigold, or "The Ring of Prosperity," has a circular band with an ornate floral design, complete with thousands of 38.08 carat natural diamonds, according to Guinness. The ring weighs a little over 165 grams or 5.8 ounces.

The previous record -- 7,801 diamonds in a ring -- was also set in India by the Hyderabad-based jeweler Hallmark Jewellers.

Bansal told Guinness that he was first was inspired to break the diamondstudded record in 2018, while studying jewelry design in Surat, India. Two years later, his company completed the ring design on November 30, 2020.

Nat Telichenko Completes Retro-Futuristic Baan Bubble Dome House In Kharkiv, Ukraine

Ukrainian designer Nat Telichenko has completed a retro-futuristic Baan Bubble Dome House in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Baan Bubble with a magnificent sunset & lake view, designed in the spirit of retro-futurism; landscape with very special thematic terraces a Chinese Garden with a Dragon Tail, a Japanese Rock Garden with Torii Gate, a Birch Grove with Cobalt-blue Puzzle and Mediterranean Line, where the Red Vine Infinity Pool is located.

There’s a Bubble Boat attached to the house, snow-white ship with a deck terrace and romantic views of the pool and lake. Inside the ship there is a lounge zone for a beautiful, relaxing guest reception.

It is impressive that there is not a single straight wall in the building - all walls are curved and have a slope. The maximum ceiling height is 5,5 m. The usable space is 100 square meters.

For façade cladding, the designer used shotcrete, mariseal, melted glass with titanium.

There are several zones in the house, from there you can hear bright acoustics, and feel the movement of the sound.

Due to its shape and special technologies, the house retains heat in winter and cool in summer. The Baan Bubble has a lot of light and fantastic sense of space.

If only 2020 hadn’t redefined the meaning of a hotspot, then we’d all be gladly planning another jet-setting holiday around Europe, Asia or the Americas right now. Alas, the world isn’t back to normal just yet and as we wait for the Covid-19 vaccine and borders to reopen, we can assume that a holiday within Australia is a safe and smart choice for 2021.

So what does travel look like for us this year? After the cancelled trips and dashed plans of 2020, we can happily share that domestic travel is booming right now. “Australia’s relative isolation from the rest of the world, coupled with our sparsely populated land have never been more precious and desirable amongst travellers,” says Tourism Australia managing director Phillipa Harrison.

“Demand for sustainable tourism practices is also increasing as more and more people acknowledge travel as a positive force for good. Based on Covid19 and what we saw following the summer bushfires, we anticipate that the wellbeing of people, and our natural environment will be key considerations for many travellers in 2021.”

With this is mind, Tourism Australia has shared seven key takeaways and trends for wanderlusting Aussies this year, which you can read below.

One thing our sunburnt country really has? Space, and lots of it. “With people craving wide-open spaces, fresh air and nature more than ever, Australia’s natural paradises will be more desirable in 2021,” says the Tourism Australia trend report. According to its most recent consumer research, the Consumer Demand Project, “destinations boasting wide-open spaces feel safer for travellers - and, after spending more time at home last year than ever before, people are developing a new appreciation for being out in nature.” Amen.

According to Tourism Australia research, 55 per cent of Australian travellers are intending to take an interstate road trip in the next 12 months. On the road trip hit list? Visiting regional areas and small towns, outdoor adventure activities and visiting new destinations to participate in food and wine experiences.

Booking.com’s Future of Travel Report backs this up, with 51 per cent of surveyed travellers saying ‘relaxing trips’ were there preferred type of holiday, followed by beach breaks (40 per cent) and city trips (29 per cent).

Lady Gaga is currently in Rome, Italy where she’s set to begin filming her latest project , Gucci. In the film, the singer plays the Italian socialite Patrizia Reggiani, who is the exwife of Maurizio Gucci, the grandson of Gucci founder Guccio Gucci. (Reggiani was tried and convicted of orchestrating her husband’s assassination in 1995.) This morning, we saw one of our first glimpses at Gaga in character as Reggiani for the role, following a quick spotting last week—and it seems she’s totally committing to it with a new look, including a bold hair transformation.

Gaga, a perennial blonde, stepped out today with her signature peroxide locks a new shade of dark brown. Even the retro styling of it was a total new look for the Chromatica singer: the hair was side-swept, and finished off with soft, bouncy curls.

The jury is out on whether it’s a wig or the real deal, but Gaga's character Reggiani had a distinctive look that was often commented on in the Italian tabloids—including her bold costume jewelry and always-coiffed hair—so it’s no surprise that Gaga is fully channelling her beauty-wise for the project.

It’s also not the first time Gaga has gone dark for a role, either. In 2018’s A Star Is Born, Gaga also went brunette, proving she’s always willing to transform herself in order to nail the part. We wouldn’t be surprised if she truly went brunette for it this time too.

There was a lot to unpack after this year’s Golden Globes. There were the awkward, technical difficulties as Hollywood’s celebrities were virtually beamed in via Zoom; Chloé Zhao’s big win but also defiant no-makeup, anti-red carpet look; and Jodie Foster’s lockdown pyjamas. And then there was Anya Taylor-Joy. Yes, there was the custom-made, forest-green Christian Dior dress and the fact she won the award for Best Actress in a Limited Series for her formidable performance as troubled chess prodigy Beth Harmon in Netflix’s smash hit, *The Queen’s Gambit— *but above all, there was the hair.

Channelling the screen sirens of Hollywood’s golden age, the 24-year-old’s grown-out locks (so that’s what was under all those auburn wigs!) were platinum blonde, swept to the side and left to hang almost to her waistline. It really was Big Hair Energy. And, luckily for us, it’s easy to recreate.

“On Anya’s damp hair, I applied Pureology Instant Levitation Mist along her roots around her hairline and Pureology Weightless Volume Mousse from root to ends.

I distributed the product evenly throughout with my detangling brush.

“With my GHD Helios hairdryer and a round brush, I created a mohawk section on top for volume, and then switched to my vent brush and continued to blow-dry her sides and back straight to maintain a soft texture and bounce.

“For the final process, I worked in two sections. The first section was from her ear forwards and I sprayed each subsection with Pureology Style + Protect Soft Finish Hairspray. After spraying, I used my 1.25in GHD Curve Soft Curl Iron and gave complete curls, setting each with a flat clip.

“Next, I moved to the back section and continued with the hairspray for each section.

Then I used the new GHD Max Styler to smooth and seal her roots and mid-lengths, leaving out her ends. After flat ironing, I used the Curl Iron again and curled from the bottom up, stopping after two complete rotations around the iron. “From here, I emulsified a pearl-size amount of Pureology Shine Bright Taming Serum in my hands and lightly smoothed her ends and face frame. Then I put Pureology Style + Protect Lock It Down Hairspray directly on to my porcupine cushion brush and softly brushed through the back. To lock the look in, I sprayed the same spray all over.”
