Check the connectivity between your printer and system using the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. Download the tool from the manufacturer’s website. Run the setup file in the download location of the system. After installing the tool, select Start and choose the printer name from the list of available devices. If the printer’s name is not in the list, switch it off and click Retry. If there are updates on the screen, click Yes and proceed with the instructions given. Check if the currently used printer is set as the default one. In Windows, type Devices and choose Devices and Printers from the available results. If the HP printer is connected to a wired network, check if the cables are connected to the printer’s Ethernet port. The orange light on the router should blink. Set the frequency band of the router to 2.4 GHz. Navigate to the notification area and select the network icon. Do not connect the printer to a Virtual Private Network.
