A full length feature film entitled State of Denial has been released showing the detailed process of how Maricopa County, Arizona’s elections were purposely manipulated and stolen. As the Chevy Suburban cruised southbound on I35 I kept a sharp eye on the night sky above us. My mom, dad, sister, and two brothers were on our traditional Christmas Eve nighttime drive back from visiting family in Oklahoma and headed back home to Dallas. Every year, I made it my mission to catch a glimpse of Santa and his sleigh streaking across the sky. My dad had always made a game out of it, encouraging me that if I looked hard enough I very well could end up seeing the magic firsthand. Each and every year I strained to see Santa and his reindeer flying across the sky I was unsuccessful, but that never stopped me the following year from keeping my eyes glued to the win-
dow, scanning for that sleigh like a militarygrade radar. Don’t get me wrong, I love all things Santa and there is nothing more fun than watching the kids get into the festivities of Christmas. But, I see parents light up talking to their kids about the magic of Santa’s sleigh and how it is he makes all the houses in the world in one night. I see parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and older siblings alike rally around the kids to keep the magic of Santa alive for them, encouraging them to look to the sky on Christmas Eve night, positive that they’ll catch a magical glimpse. 57 years and 1,100 feet down
Todd Watson of CCS Water Specialists takes a look at over 1,000 feet down in Howe’s well. Staff photo. The City of Howe recently had pumping issues at the water well on E. FM 902 and contracted CCS Water Specialists to send a camera 1,100 down the well casing to see if there were any obstructions in the screens that block sediments from entering the stream. While there was some slight calcium on the inner casing, the pipe that has been submerged in the Woodbine Aquifer since 1966 was
holding strong. The city will, however, complete a preventative maintenance cleaning of the well casing. The tower should be working at full capacity again in the spring. Until then, Howe will continue to rely fully on the surface water intake from the Greater Texoma Utility Authority on the east side of US Highway 75.

Howe students show Christmas Spirit Submitted— Peggy’s Porch hosted a Christmas Store that provided free gifts to local children so that they would have gifts to give their parents and siblings on Christmas morning. Over the course of two days, December 18 and 19, 350 gifts were selected and wrapped for the Howe ISD Intermediate and Middle School student shoppers. Gifts included jewelry, fragrance and makeup, home décor, accessories, hats, scarves, toys and books. Baby Bouse Bakery of Howe also generously donated free bags of homemade Christmas cookies to the young shoppers. The overwhelming success of this event can be attributed to the Howe ISD administrators, Clay Wilson and Michael Segleski; Counselors K’ Lain Ashlock and Casey Mandi, teachers and staff including Librarian Torrey Stricklin and Math Teacher, Rick Stewart, Pat Pampinella, Joyce Park, Latosha Lucas and more!
