Bulldogs call for packed house for district opener with Leonard Something cool is going to happen this week. We're going to produce a Howe Bulldogs quarterback roundtable conversation with Jay Skipworth, Chase Fountain, and Austin Haley. Each of these quarterbacks have been the all-time leader in yards at one point. Rick Hanning was scheduled to join the group, but a scheduling conflict will not allow. This will be produced by Studio42 and partnered with Howe Podcast 101. It will take place on the H under the lights at Bulldog Stadium. To be released later in the season. ***** The Downtown Howelloween Festival will take place Saturday, October 29 beginning at 6 pm. The Howe Fall Festival will be held Saturday, October 15 at the Howe Middle School parking lot. ***** A federal judge ruled Friday that Georgia’s election integrity practices requiring voter ID and citizenship checks are legal and constitutional, rejecting arguments of racism and voter suppression from the state’s Democrat nominee for governor, Stacey Abrams, just weeks before Election Day. U.S. District Judge Steve C. Jones, an Obama appointee, issued the ruling, after a lengthy trial, handing a major victory to Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who aggressively defended the state’s election integrity laws from a legal assault by Abrams’ voter group Fair Fight Inc. and other liberals. The Bulldogs have become the hottest ticket in town for Friday nights. Photo by Rick Baze. The Howe Bulldogs have become the turnaround gang of 2022 and the talk of Texoma. With the V lit in four of five games, the pages of the 22-game losing streak are turning brown and brittle as five sophomore defensive starters were not a part of the time spent in the Little Big XII for the past two seasons. Howe faces the most consequential game at Bulldog Stadium since October 2016 and are asking Bulldog Nation to come out in masses and pack the stadium for the showdown with Leonard who also has a 4-1 rec-
ord. Howe will need to win at least two games in district play to qualify for the playoffs and Howe Bulldogs Head Coach Lance Bryan says that crowd support for this game can make a major impact. “Our home crowds have been vital to our success this season. The team feeds off the energy and enthusiasm of an electric crowd,” said Bryan. We need a packed house to gain an edge in a huge game with playoff implications.” Howe’s matchup with
