HoweEnterprise.com It’s the first time the Victory Light has been lit for back-to-back weeks since September 2018. ***** We had our largest listening audience ever for a Howe football game against Honey Grove. Thanks to everyone who tuned in. This is the 29th season of broadcasting football games for this here guy. We had a good listening audience for the Tom Bean game as well, but by the looks of the bleachers—most people made it to the game. It was one of the largest crowds at Bulldog Stadium in years. Among those in the audience were the broadcast crew for the Denison Yellow Jackets on KMKT 93.1 FM. Lynn Burkhead and Ed Meacham were off Friday due to Denison playing on Thursday. Coach Lance Bryan made a call out to fans to come out and see what this new team is all about. It appeared to work. ***** What in the world was the Joe Biden speech trying to illuminate? The backdrop to the “Red Sermon” looked like either a Moloch or Nazi tribute. One thing is for sure, he made it apparent that he hates the MAGA people. Ironically, that stands for Make America Great Again. However, he said he’s on board with the “mainstream” Republicans who are happy to destroy the dollar and strip us of our freedoms. The Howe Bulldogs (20) moved from a 22game losing streak to a 2game winning streak Friday night with a dominating 49-6 win over Tom Bean (1-1). The Bulldogs racked up 503 yards of total offense and allowing Tom Bean only 129. The Dogs’ defense allowed a staggering 464 yards per game a year ago and have improved that to 192 so far in 2022. He also moved ahead of Chase Fountain with his three touchdown passes on the night which gives him a total of 37. Haley now only trails Jay Skipworth who has 39 career touchdowns. But the game was not about one player or one side of the ball; it was a dominating team effort in all three phases of the
