LANDS’END Longtime Lady Bulldogs Head Coach announces retirement
HoweEnterprise.com Monday, April 4, 2022
Back in March 2014, never did I think I’d end up publishing as many Howe Enterprise editions as my Papaw Bob Walker. I’ve somehow done this without ownership of a Ford Ranchero and a hundred packs of Winstons. Today is edition 421 for me. Combined, we’ve captured the history of 842 weeks in Howe. That’s a little over 16 years. It equates to nearly 400 school board and city council meetings combined. No telling how many more chamber meetings and such. He captured the Howe Centennial celebration and even chaired the event. Looks like I’ll be doing the same for the Sesquicentennial. I think he’d be proud. He’d also be reminding me how ‘rough’ I have it without the sweaty print office and dark room for developing thy own photos. Today’s front page is formatted to look similar to one of his final editions in August 1974. James Echols took over ownership. EDITOR’S NOTE—This column is reserved as an editorial column and may not necessarily reflect the policy of this publication.

They cannot guarantee that every flag will be placed on the same day, but do guarantee that it will be out for the holiday. Those holidays are Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Patriot Day, Veterans Day, and Presidents Day. The cost is $45 per year due by May 18.
