You're living in history now. Hot fun in the summer time

The Hotter N Howe Summer Bash was held Saturday and it was a larger crowd than the first one two years ago, but the turnout was still lower than expected. Perhaps the name of the event coincided with the actual heat is just too much. The Howe Area
Chamber of Commerce, the host of the event, is discussing moving it back in the day with a start time of around 7pm under the lights at the ballfield. Sponsors of the event were Guns N More, TLD Design Consulting, HIT Exteriors, Howe Fire Department, and the Howe Enterprise.
Austin College coach leads Methodists have volleyball camp in Howe new pastor
Ed Garza, the Head Volleyball Coach at Austin College was back in town last week to hold camp with the Howe Lady Bulldogs. A lot of his work focused on footwork and a lot of repetitions. “They don’t realize they touch the ball about 10,000 times per day,” said Garza while demonstrating two girls that were bouncing the volleyball off the wall in quick short motions.

Stephen Lashley is the new pastor at First United Methodist Church of Howe. The 26-year-old is originally of Elk City, Oklahoma and is following the family trade as is mother is a pastor in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He says it’s been a lifelong journey into ministry. He preached his first sermon in high school, but upon a visit to the Holy Lands in college, he experienced a spirit-filled moment
