They say goodbye to ol’ Howe High The Howe Bulldogs football season has over 90 days before it begins, but already they’ve picked up a win. It was discovered this past week that the 1937 contest with Pilot Point, while being won on the field by the Bearcats, 76, Pilot Point used ineligible players and had to forfeit all conference games for that season. Nifty writing by Russell Bryant, the owner of the Howe Messenger who ran the weekly newspaper from what is now the Howe EDC/ Chamber office (which we also didn’t know before that research). So, give the Howe Bulldogs 388 wins to 371 losses since 1935. ***** Tax Day payment are due soon. The IRS should just send a simple form and request:

There were only 58 high school students Howe Public Schools in 1921 and none were seniors. High School included eighth grade through the 11th grade of which 24 were in the eighth grade. The ninth grade class had 21 students but only three were boys (Floyd Smith, James Davis, and Robert
