Many awards will be handed out Friday night at Summit Gardens at the annual Howe Hall of Honor event. Last year's event was cancelled due to COVID so the chamber will honor the 2019 awards as well as the 2020 awards Friday. The Norma J. Wallace Citizen of the Year is Clarissia Doty for 2020 and Becky Hogenson for 2019. Hogenson has declined the award from the chamber, but we wanted to salute her here at the Howe En-
terprise for her amazing contributions to Summit Gardens and for her leadership with Keep Howe Beautiful. The Volunteer of the Year awards will be presented to Amber Carter for 2020 and Sergio Garcia for 2019. Both are heavily involved with volunteerism with Howe Youth Sports and Garcia is also a volunteer board member for the chamber. Don’s Smokehouse will be presented
