Public Works honored at council meeting
At the most recent Howe City Council meeting, Mayor Bill French recognized members of the public works department for their effort during the historic freeze. Their efforts helped keep water flowing to homes while also responding to over 50 emergency calls to disconnect water services throughout the city due to frozen and busted pipes. The City of Howe was also the first to be taken from the boil notice of the surrounding area.
