This is the 35th Annual event which began in 1986 as part of the Texas Sesquicentennial celebration. That year the former Howe Lions Club hosted a PRCA Rodeo at the location which is now the Howe Youth Softball fields.
To this point, there are nearly 70 vendor spaces accounted for including food items such as kettle corn, hot dogs, chili pie, nachos, and cotton candy from The Crazy Red Rooster. There will also be tamales from Mama D’s. Howe Youth Volleyball will have funnel cakes and Howe Youth Baseball will have hot dogs, hamburgers, and sausage on a stick.
Bent Creek will be the featured musical guest on stage in front of the Howe Area Chamber of Commerce.
Star Auto Body & Alignment has again sponsored the Interurban Kid Train which will run through the alley in downtown for access of both Haning and O’Connell Streets.
