The Howe Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their first ever luncheon last Tuesday at Summit Gardens which featured guest speaker Scott Norris of Tomlin Investments. The event was sponsored by Sheryl Bentley, a realtor with REMAX Properties who provided boxed lunches for the approximately 20 that were in attendance. Norris, spoke on the 469.7 acre Hilltop Ranch development that will take place at the southern entrance of Howe at the north-

All-School Reunion set for Oct. 15-16 The Howe ExStudents Association will be hosting the All -School reunion on the weekend of Oct. 15-16. The event begins at Bulldog Stadium on Friday and moves to the high school. On Saturday, a coffee and donuts meet and greet will start a 8 am followed by a luncheon at the high school at 11 am. On Saturday night at 7:30, a benefit concert featuring Chicago Tribute Authority Texas will take place.

The most important weekend of Christian faith is coming up starting with Good Friday where Jesus was crucified on the cross in Jerusalem over 2,000 years ago. Three days later, He rose from the grave and overcame this world. Local churches have set their schedules and invite any and all who wish to attend. Scott Norris discussed the future Hilltop Ranch development in South Howe.

Lady Bulldogs finish first at Decatur The Howe Lady Bulldogs continue their dominance on golf courses. They finished first at the Decatur Country Club with a combined score of 371, finishing one stroke ahead of Callisburg. Kriston Harris was second overall with a score of 86 while Katie Grogan was fifth at 92. Reagan Troxtell and Brooke Robinson also finished in the top 10 overall with scores of 95 and 98, respectively. The District meet is today at Stone Creek in Sherman. The girls are coached by Derek Lands.
