The reason I took this risk is because my dad told me, ‘If anyone could do it, you could.’ EDITOR’S NOTE—This column is reserved as an editorial column and may not necessarily reflect the policy of this publication.

We’ve made a lot of new friends in the community, and we’ve had some friends call our advertisers to try and get them to turn on us. But through it all, it’s been a great seven years. We set out to do this to help the local businesses prosper with an inexpensive place to advertise their products. And by looking around, we’ve been a part of that success in our various roles. We also wanted to brag on the Howe kids that get very little exposure from the media companies of Grayson County.
