One local pastor always has some funny sayings followed with a #kidsdontknow. The world 40 years ago was vastly different than today's society. Anyone that's 45 years old or more can go ahead and drop the "duh." While Howe is probably more similar than most parts of the world, things have changed quite a bit. For example, in 1982, an 8-yearold boy could ride his bike to Mac's Cash and buy a pack of Kool Filter Kings and race them back to his dad who's on the couch after a hard day's work. And if that boy happened to buy himself a Coke (bottle) and dropped it riding the bike up the ramp next to City Hall, there was likely a friend of his dads right there in front of the fire station to go back into Mac's Cash and buy you another Coke. It was about the same time Atari came out and Pac Man was the latest and greatest technological advancement. It was also about the time Heartland Cable came to our house and dropped the Braves and Cubs into our home on a daily basis.
