Bulldogs 4x100 relay team P&Z, council deny zoning change for multiple duplexes snatch 34-year-old school record
The rain messed up what was supposed to be a wonderful spring weekend. Keep Howe Beautiful did not get to hold their trashoff on Saturday and the Howe Youth Baseball 12U tournament's games on Saturday were rescheduled. Speaking of the 12U tournament, the HYB Commissioner Mike Portman wants to thank Kent Lowder for his loads of work he did to help make it a great experience for Howe teams and the other teams in the tournament. Lowder drug fields, marked fields, hung stadium speakers, and probably even sold a couple of hot dogs to boot. Those tournaments are crucial for the youth baseball program as they are a great source of revenue that in turn go back to benefit the kids in Howe. Proceeds for the tournament have been partially earmarked to order the necessary parts to fix the scoreboard at North Field. The New York Times: 1,156; CNN: 1,965; MSNBC: 4,202. These are the number of stories ran on the Mueller Investigation since September. This equates to 13 stories per day - all about an investigation with no evidence, no grounding in the truth, and no crime. Think about that for a moment. This is how we get our information. We're supposed to trust these people. After 22 months, apparently, it was what President Trump said it was - a witch hunt. Now the fun really begins. The Howe High School boys 4x100 relay team of Caiden Harmon, Kyler Anderson, Joseph Brennan, and Mason Riggs who Scheibmeir for a request for eclipsed the school record a zoning change from SF-1 with a time of 43.54 in the (Single Family Residential Whitewright track meet on page 2 Thursday evening. The previous record was set in
Luke P. Scheibmeir gave a presentation to the Howe City Council and members of the audience on Tuesday night. On Monday, the Howe Planning & Zoning Commission listened to a presentation from Luke
1985 by Stephen Ogle, Ken Johnson, Billy Covington, and Brian Ross who ran a 43.60. Marissa Agee recently broke Howe's 800 meter record while junior Ally Harvey shares the highjump record.
Howe High School One Act Play advances to area The Howe High School Theater Department has done it again. Their play "Sending Down the Sparrows" has advanced again - this time to the area round of competition. Instructor Katie Wilson indicated that during the performance that there were some issues, however, the students pulled through and performed well enough to advance to the next round. Howe High School One Act Play students with their trophy. Students receiving recognition were Micaela Wade for All-Star Technician, Alex Kellam -Honorable Mention AllStar Cast, Parker Blount received All-Star Cast, and Karsyn Fleming received
the Best Actress Award. The students will now perform their next show during the area competition on April 5 at Grayson College. The shows will
