In Proverbs 18:24 it says, “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother” According to the Bible, a friend is someone who sticks closer than a brother That means a friend is someone who is always there for you, someone who “runs in” when others “run out” on you The word “stick” refers to how the skin sticks to the bone, and this is a picture of how a real friend will stick closer to you through thick and thin than One thing you will never have to question about a friend is his loyalty A true friend will always be your defense attorney before he will become your judge

True friends are truly valuable! You’ll learn in life that you may think you count many friends, but there aren’t many friends that you can count on. Be that friend who “sticks closer than a brother,” both you and your friend will be glad you did
