Howe fifth and sixth grade

The fifth and sixth grade Howe Bulldogs are expected to be among the very best in the league this fall, however, they got off to a rough start suffering a 12-6 loss to Collinsville They have a losing record (0-1) for the first time since 2012

Coaches Michael Portman, Thomas Troxtell and Monte Walker had their team give up 12 points all of last season, but Collinsville scored six on the very first play of 2016 After the first quarter, Howe trailed 6-0

In the second quarter, the Bulldogs tied the game with a 22-yard touchdown pass from A J Haley to Tate Harvey The point conversion was no good

Just before the half, Collinsville scored again to lead 12-6 at halftime

Howe had opportunities, but early season mistakes played big roles in shutting down the 'Dogs' hopes Howe had a chance to tie in the final seconds of the game, but came up empty These coaches are now 26-3 since 2013

Howe third and fourth grade lose to Tom Bean, 7-6

After rain soaked much of North Texas, games were delayed on Saturday and the Howe third and fourth grade Bulldogs were pushed back to a noon start from the initial 9 a m schedule

Little Bulldogs win, 28-6

Howe's youngest Bulldogs, the first and second graders traveled to Collinsville on Saturday to play the Blue Ridge Tigers Riken Cross had two touchdowns, and a kickoff return touchdown Kendall O'Brien had a touchdown of nearly 60 yards. Extra points were scored by Emerson Stevens, Samantha Fuhr, and Kendall O'Brien Charles Fuhr
