Howe Fire Chief Robert Maniet reported 57 calls which were a variation of EMS, mutual aid fires and city structure fires He announced that the fireworks show has been rescheduled for Sept 4 at 5:30 pm

Economic Development Director Monte Walker informed the council that Stark Lane Comprehensive Personnel Services has purchased the building behind Gabriela's and will begin operating from there in midSeptember He also stated that he has had visits with two different hydroponics companies looking at Howe The EDC will also be contracting Aerial Focus to create a development map with water, sewer, territorial areas and other information that will help developers with a overall scope of the city

A process has begun to seek a $75,000 matching grant to develop C C Jones Park on East Davis Street
