Howe's That by Monte Walker "Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years" is a lyric from L.L. Cool J and it could represent the mood of our fair burg. A good parade is a good way to gauge the heart of a community. If that is true, then Howe's heart is far from life support that many had claimed only a few short years ago. The city's letter that was sent out about the failure to test for lead and copper does not mean that the water contains copper and lead. It just simply means that the test wasn't done. Howe's Mayor Jeff Stanley gave a statement which is on page 22.

"Victory Town" Christmas Parade had 30 floats The 2015 Howe Christmas Parade was themed "Victory Town" because of the success the town has had this year in Howe sports and Howe development. The Howe Area Chamber of Commerce officially held their first parade since reorganizing at the beginning of 2015. It turned out to be a joint effort with Keep Howe Beautiful, who organized the parade last year as members of each organization rallied together to form one of the longest parades in the town's history with 30 floats.
