Howe's That by Monte Walker Right about the time school starts, the exterior of the old church should look brand new. Thanks to the Collins family who left some funds with the city many years ago for the direct use for upkeep of the church, the money, after years of accruing interest, will be used to completely reface the exterior of the old structure and eliminate an asbestos problem created from so many years ago. With donations that have already started to come in through a downtown bench sponsorship created by Georgia Caraway, the broken windows will soon be replaced as well.
