SHAC presents check to AHA

Checks were presented by Howe ISD to the American Heart Association and the Howe Memorial Scholarship from the SHAC (Student Health Advisory Committee's) fundraising event held last month

$751 each went to each of the two organizations as they were each given 50 percent of the proceeds

Seen presenting the checks in the photos above is Assistant Superintendent Ritchie Bowling Bowling served his final days with Howe ISD last week as he has accepted the superintendent

position with Maypearl ISD

The SHAC Bulldog Run 5K saw between 125-130 participants the the money raised was from that event as well as the health fair silent auction.
