Founders Day a hit

We are pleased to announce that things are growing at The Howe Enterprise. Because of the 1,000 plus likes on Facebook, I successfully planted a tree in the Western Hills park by Westwood Manor. We are also going to have a video produced coaches show each week in football season with Howe Head Coach Zach Hudson. There is a possibility of play-byplay internet broadcasting of each game, but that is just in the infancy stages. Stay tuned on that one.

Food, fun and festivities for all were had in downtown Howe on Saturday morning. Howe celebrated its 142nd birthday in style with a larger turnout for Founders Day than the last several years. There were 42 booths spaces slotted for 36 businesses to do trade. As seen in the photo, many of the town's kids were lined up to get their face painted for the special festive day. continued on Page #3

Justice of the Peace race heating up
