Abby's Restaurant Open in Howe

Howe's That ? The Howe Police Department has stated that they will soon start posting the names of persons with arrests warrants on Facebook and social media outlets. She worked at several fast food locations and even cleaned houses. However in 2005, Avila became an employer, instead of an employee. She opened up her first restaurant in Pilot Point, The Steak House. The restaurant eventually outgrew the original 10 tables and moved into the Pilot Point shopping center. Looking to move from the Pilot Point area, she was targeting Howe back in 2012. She bought some equipment from the catfish restaurant in Howe when it closed but missed the opportunity to lease the location. At that time, the restaurant Wyomings had been thriving in downtown Howe before closing (due to a desire for the owner to move to New York) and it also was taken by a BBQ owner before she could secure that lease. She looked at another location across Haning Street downtown, but it didn’t work out. So she settled on Tioga in the historic part of town and opened up her new restaurant named Abby’s (which was named Continued on Page #2
